The Digital Jeli is a program of TeMaTe Institute for Black Dance and Culture a 501c3 organization based in Detroit that is actively making critical contributions to the study, preservation, and dissemination of dance and culture of the African diaspora and shifting how people appreciate and practice the many gifts from the African continent.

The mission of TeMaTe Institute for Black Dance and Culture is to embody a more culturally just and equitable world/art by uplifting and making space for the contributions of the African diaspora.
